New Jersey's Portrail?????

Yes, it is true - I am not from New Jersey.

When I told people that I was moving to New Jersey I was told "Why the hell would you want to move there? New Jersey is the arm pit of America!"

Well I went anyways - I met my husband started a family and now I am stuck ---- I'll stop now getting off point......

I have been here for over 20 years now - YES I was a small child when I moved here!!

I have met tons of people from all walks of life. I have traveled all over NJ and I have come to love this state.

Arm pit of America - well maybe. Some parts aren't that pretty. But others are completely breathtaking. Farms, rolling hills, lush green vegetation, Autumn leaves........

NJ has some wonderful people - and has produced may famous ones.

But I do have to say - I am not really sure if this current Portrait of NJ is really the image that NJ would want out there.

NJ has had some bad years - A Gay American Governor! - Corruption within local Governments - Taxes thur the roof - just to name a few.

But I thought things were looking up. A new Governor - who I hope is cleaning house and kicking all the crooks out (Don't let me down Christie!!!!!)

However yet again New Jersey is going to remain the laughing stock of the Nation!

People of the other 49 Don't believe what you see on TV.

Believe me we are not all like the Real Housewives, Jersey Shore and Jerseylicious!!!!

I am not even sure where these people came from.

Yes I have crossed paths with women like the Housewives - they are a little out there but that is what makes the show -

Jersey Shore???????? They aren't even from NJ?????

And Jerseylous - not real - they set it up for the show!!!

I guess there is no hope for NJ - It will always be what is West of NY and something you have to travel thru to get to PA.
